Achen Pass, at an elevation of 941m above the sea level, is a mountain pass in the Alps in the state of Bavaria in Germany.



The Ammer Saddle, at an elevation of 1.082 m. above the sea level, is a high mountain pass in the Alps on the border between Tyrol, Austria and Bavaria, Germany, located in the St-2060 road.

 

Autobahn 81 (abbreviated as BAB 81 or A 81) is a motorway in Germany. It branches off the A 3 at the Würzburg-West triangle and ends near the border to Switzerland.

German road conditions in general are excellent, although you should exercise caution while traveling on older roads in eastern Germany. Contrary to popular belief, there are posted speed limits on large stretches of the highway, or Autobahn, mostly when traveling through urban areas or when the road has many curves.

The Kehlsteinhaus (also known as the Eagle's Nest) is a chalet-style structure erected on a subpeak of the Hoher Göll known as the Kehlstein. The Kehlsteinhaus was intended as a 50th birthday present for Adolf Hitler to serve as a retreat, and a place for him to entertain visiting dignitaries.


 

The Nebelhorn, at an elevation of 2,224 metres (7,297 ft) above sea level, is one of the steepest and hardest climbs in Europe. The road reaches an altitude of 1.925m.



Riedberg Pass is a mountain pass in the Alps Black Forest range, linking the towns of Obermaiselstein and Balderschwang, Germany, at an elevation of 1407m above the sea level.

 

The German Romantic Road is one of the biggest magnets for tourism in the southern provinces of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.

The journey on the "Rossfeldhöhenring" Road leads you to an altitude of 1600 m directly to the one-time, alpine high mountains of the Berchtesgadener country.

 

The Roßfeldhöhenringstraße is a toll-Alpine road located in the Alps of Berchtesgaden in the district of Berchtesgaden, Bavaria (Germany).
