Is the road to Leqet e Hotit paved?
Set high in the northwestern part of Albania, the road to the summit is the challenging SH20. It’s very steep, hitting a 12.7% maximum gradient through some of the ramps and features countless hairpin turns. The road was recently completely renovated and is now paved and in really good shape. It is frequented by many cyclists and motorcyclists. When it snows heavily, it may get closed.
How long is Leqet e Hotit?
The pass is 16.4 km (10.19 miles) long, running south-north from Rrapshë to Tamarë.
