Aizhai Highway (China National Highway 319 or G319) is one of the most dangerous roads in China. It was built in 1935 , during the Japanese invasion of China.

Cruising on the majestic Yangtze River, visitors will notice some narrow meandering paths hung on the cliffs about 33 feet above the river. They are the ancient plank roads - the typical ancient Chinese mountainous roads that are mostly seen on the borders of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing and Hubei Provinces. It is such roads that make a deep chasm turn into a thoroughfare.

The Burma Road is a road linking Burma (also called Myanmar) with China. Its terminals are Kunming, Yunnan, and Lashio, Burma. When it was built, Burma was a British colony.

Jelep La is a high mountain pass between India and Tibet in East Sikkim District of Sikkim, at an elevation of 4.267m (14,300 ft.) above the sea level. The famous Menmecho Lake lies below the Jelep La Pass.

The Jiaozhou Bay bridge spans 42.4km (26.3 miles) to connect the eastern coastal city of Qingdao to the suburb of Huangdao, in Jiaozhou Bay. It’s the world’s largest bridge over water.

The Kulma Pass, at an elevation 4,362 m. (14,311 ft.) above the sea level is a mountain pass across the Pamir Mountains on the border between the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan and the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of China.

Panshan Road, located in Tianjin, is one of the Chinese most dangerous roads. It takes 20km wide east to west, and 10km long north to south.
Mt. Panshan has been described as "the most beautiful mountain east of Beijing".

Nathu La is a mountain pass in the Himalayas. It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass, at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level, forms a part of an offshoot of the ancient Silk Road.
