The road is 184km (114 miles) long, running west-east from Kribi (a beach resort and sea port, on the Gulf of Guinea, in Océan Department, South Province, at the mouth of the Kienké River) to Ebolowa (the capital of Cameroon's South Region).
Is the Route Nationale 17 (N17) paved?
The road comprises paved and unpaved sections. However, due the nature of the surface, especially after rains, driving 4WD is recommended due to uneven surface.
