Why is Stara Baska famous?
The tiny town, also called Old Baska, was founded in the 14th century and it is home to many of the most beautiful beaches on Krk Island. It has about 100 inhabitants. Due to the frequent winds, the surrounding hills are bare and only low vegetation grows on them.
